Sicilean Citrus Blueberry Crumble

Start your day with a Mediterranean fruit combo of assorted citrus fruits and fresh blueberries with a little drizzle of good quality EVOO, a pinch of flakey salt and raw pistachios! Turn your leftovers into your evening’s dessert by adding healthy ingredients to make a crisp topping!


Citrus and blueberries help to protect our cells with their high antioxidant content. They also assist in balancing hormones and keeping the immune system boosted! ⁣

For the Crumble Topping:

1 cup rolled oats⁣⁣

½ cup shelled pistachios

½ cup sliced almonds

½ cup almond meal⁣⁣

½ cup unsweetened flaked coconut⁣⁣

2 tbsp hemp seeds

pinch of sea salt⁣⁣

1 tsp of Ceylon cinnamon⁣⁣

¼ cup olive oil + more for the bottom of the pan

⅓ cup real maple syrup⁣⁣


2 cups surpremed and sliced oranges

2 cups fresh blueberries⁣⁣

2 tbsp goji berries

⁣⁣

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.


Mix topping ingredients together in a large bowl until well combined.


Combine the fruit and add to the bottom of a lightly greased casserole dish. Add the topping. Bake for approximately 35 mins at 350 until bubbly and then let it rest/set!


Pro tip: Cover if it's getting too brown too fast. You can top it with a little vanilla vegan ice cream, yogurt, or just enjoy it straight up cold out the fridge for breakfast or dessert. So good!⁣
